Video Problems with PC Game Juiced

I recently acquired the game and the install went perfectly, but when I start the game some of the letter are missing off of the screen. My Video Card is a GForce 4 MX 460 64 MB with the 71.89 Drivers. Comp is AMD Athlon 1.4, 512 MB, 180GB. I've already emailed THQ and they say go bug Nvidia. Anyone else have this problem?

I think you will find the MX card is no good for Juiced.

Even when it states an Nvidia Geforce 2 minimum required. It may be that it doesnt want to work with MX cards which are cheaper versions of the Geforces.

Yea i think your right in that the MX cards are no good. I think a lot of new games that are coming out wont accept the MX cards, such as Brothers In Arms: The Road to Hill 30. Well now I know to get a new card....any suggestions? I was thinking ATI X800.

I can just one last thing to this, GeForce 2, 3 and 4 MX, the entire MX series in fact, are ALL GeForce 2 MX with differents clock frequencies, some plugs are not the same for the instructions like vertex and pixel shaders which were created later...
Buy a ATI X700 or X800, or a GeForce 6600 or 6800 GT to be sure

GeForce MX series do not have a Pixel Shader which some games need.

From the Juiced Readme:

Quote:
Juiced has a number of different material techniques to take advantage of various graphic hardware capabilities, be aware, using graphics hardware not capable of running shaders, Geforce2/4MX for example, or using the troubleshooting no shaders option will give minimal quality inferior rendering.
So this is probably why the game is not running as you'd like!
