Yes, we were using a 15watt iron. I think he may have bridged two of the "legs" on the chip. We are going to try to clean up as much solder as we can, then clean the chip up, and see if that makes a difference. I know he used a desoldering braid to clean up some of the drips, but I rememeber him saying something about the chip appearing to have solder touching each other.

We got the diagram from chipzone for the V4 no gap.

I appreciate everyone's input!
