NHL 09 crack

There is no need for it. The game it has the same protection as Spore, Mass Effect, Dead Space, Crysis Warhead, FIFA 09, NBA 09, Sacred 2 and so on: online activation. Once the game activated, no need for a disc in drive. The crack bypasses the activation and that's it.

NHL 09 crack IS on the gcw

Sorry to mention this, wolfsrain, but someone (empire?) added the nhl 09 crack to the gcw database.
I do not own the game I am not interested in the crack for it, but shouldnīt the crack be here when there is the new ea online activation??

What about other titles then? Some online activation cracks are linked to gamefix... Hmm??

Well, donīt get me wrong, I love the gcw/fileforums, and for me I am afraid, gcw will loose its existence in some way when all publisher will use online activation some day... But uploading those cracks will soon call dozens of lawyers on the other hand... Bad situation.

The linking is up to site admins. Other EA confirmed titles, using online activation are Red Alert3, Dead Space, FIFA Manager '09, NFS Undercover. The status for Mirror's Edge, Sims3 and Dragon Age is still unknown.
Also, the new game from LockOn series developpers (DCS: Black Shark) is confirmed to use at release online activation.

Right now EA is in silentio stampa. They have a few lawsuits tied to online activated SecuROM and the limited number of installs. Like I said, if that wouldn't be an install limit and the incertitude that the online activation will be or not be removed after one year or two years, online activation would be okay with me. But like I've already mentioned I have quite a few old games that I'm still playing (Black Isle games, Troika games, the city builders from Impressions Games and so on). If those games would have been protected in the same fashion, today I wouldn't be able to play them anymore. I love to play my favorite games and I'm going through hoops to make some of the really old games to work on modern PC's (Ultima, Wizardry series, Might and Magic, Sierra's old adventures). So you understand why I'm so rabid when it comes to a protection that limits me.

EA is like the waves in the sea: one day they say something and the next day the say it has been a misunderstood from the previous statement and emend it.
You never know when they words will last.
it's up to you: if you want to play their games you will have to accept their rules. just like members in this forum must accept some rules (which doesn't mean they must follow/obey).

I have my old games and for them I use a Virtual Machine (DOS/Win3.11, Win98). if I want to play some old games in Windows XP I have to play with the Application Compatibility and use a little help from a program called W512MB.EXE to fill the memory (512MB each time it runs) so the game won't crash when trying to find how much memory the PC has.
