primodvd file lost

When I compile a global image file with primodvd it reads ok, or seems to, but when I check the file to burn afterwards, its not there, but was during the writing phase??

Any ideas?

Could we have more infor please as I've never seen this during the 6 months since I got my A03.

1 PC operating System
2 Whether the target drive is of typr FAT, FAT32 or NTFS
3 Size of DVD game you are copying
4 Px Engine version
5 Whether you follow the instructions as in www.psxcopyworld.co.uk
6 Confirm that the file is not there in Windows explorer

lost file

Win 98 se

ps2 v5

final fantasy 10

read with a ricoh 9120a

think followed correctly, first play with this prog. just before building, I nominated where it was to go in bottom left window, called it ffx.gi, seemed to read to file ok, and my hd space decreased as it was doing so, but now I cant find the file, tried it 3 times now, seems I have 3 hidden files now that I cant find, as I'm now 12g down on space????????

any ideas?

(ps replied to $700 chip on other ? below)

Well I would like you to answer my questions directly - you missed some answers out and you got an answer wrong. You said you read FFX on a Ricoh 9210A. That's a CD-RW not a DVD-R burner. So what's going on? Do you not have a DVD-R burner and if no DVD-R burner what are you putting into the Ricoh? From what you've said you're down 3 x 4 GB. So something doesn't stack up.

I'll set it out again below including in italics what you said.

1 PC operating System
Windows 98 SE

2 Whether the target drive is of type FAT, FAT32 or NTFS

3 Size of DVD game you are copying
Final Fantasy 10 - so we'll take that as around 4GB

4 Px Engine version

5 Whether you follow the instructions as in www.psxcopyworld.co.uk

6 Confirm that the file is not there in Windows explorer

Hidden files can be displayed through the Options for Windows Explorer. They can be set to non-hidden. But you need to be sure of their status. That means was there a "completed successfully" message from PrimoDVD?

Please answer every question this time.
