ps2 in trouble!

hi i was wondering how the ps2 is going to cope with the all mighty x-box coming to town.
i dont think it would have much of a chance againced the unlimited flow of money of the microsoft dudes.
cause they could buy out all the good games and sony would get none

but IM still sticking with my ###y ps2!!!!

Hi,

Dont you worry young man, the X-Box has alot to impress in the games industry. Sony and Nintendo already have a big share in the market and to be honest i dont see the X-Box taking over the PS2 or Game cube.

I have no intention of buying an X-Box, for a start its made by Microsoft and we all know how crap there OS Systems are. And as a Programmer by ##### you would not believe how many problems we have had using there products. There are alot of peeps out there that could spend allday telling you how much agro they get from good old Microsoft.

Thats just my view and im sure others have a different one to me.

SONY and the playstaion2 are here to stay

I personally believe buying an X-Box is completely unnecessary...After all you did come to this forum and post on it... which does mean you have a computer....which leads me to ask anyone why they will buy the X-Box computer.... the way i see it:
X-Box = a non-upgradable, over priced, mini computer... geez if you want a mini-computer invest the money into a laptop, much more worth the while... plus you can play EVERY game you want to play on X-Box on your computer, and do a whole lot more....
Personally I will never buy an X-Box because my computer is fine and I can get every xbox game up on my computer and back em up without installin a special chip (modchip)

anyways thats enuf rambling... what do you guys think about the xbox???

the ms xbox will be the best console in the history of videogames for only 299 you will get the whole package not like the ps2 that for 299 you only buy the console without a modem and hard drive that will cost 150 thats mean that the ps2 completly cost 450 thats a overcost machine just wait and like the dc dead the ps2 will dead but you said game cube???? what is that??? another kids console oh noooooooo why nintendo continue doing that plis nintendo dont do more kids console!!!!!!!!!!!!

which one is best? that remains to be seen but alot of the top game manufacturers are going Xbox so i guess we will find out on Nov 15.

For the xbox to be big it needs to do well in the land of the rising sun as most of the major software house are based there.

But the Japanese are not taking to the xbox as well as Bill Gates had hoped for. Xbox might be a big hit in the States but elsewhere it will lag behind Sony and Nintendo.

yeah i think ur right, as i said im gonna keep my PS2, the Xbox will lag behind Song and Nintendo and comps can always be upgraded better than the Xbox.

My m8 read somewhere that u used to b able to upgrade the Xbox and now can't is this true. i don't really pay much attention 2 the Xbox

Japan has had the video game market covered ,Atari, SEGA, Sony and nintendo, so it's no surprise that they would try to skimp on the first american made console. Bill gates has enough games listed exclusively for X-box to put a hurt on the other console makers, DOA 3, Soul Calibur 2 just to name a couple, X box is made by microsoft but alot of different game developers and engineers had alot of input so it probably will be a excellent console despite what the other console makers think. Everyone seems to think playing a game on xbox will be like playing one on a home pc but it will be alot different. Game makers are not flocking to xbox just to see it and the games they develop flop.

Game cube is just so @a% cuse come on, nintendo,aha thay only have @a^ @$$ face mario brother games HAHAHAHA

and Game cube baa A)looks like crap
B)is big and bulky
C)might be non modable
D) since bill gates made it he proble has some new coputer system and programs and stuff that no one else had so when you put a game from it in your PC it screwes up

I do know that the PS2 has been released for 1 year and sony already has plans underway for the PS3. The X-Box is a awesome console and blows away the PS2 as far as graphics and gameplay and a modchip is being developed for it. The load time is practically non existant on the X-Box compaired to PS2. The only thing it is lacking is games but so did the PS2 at launch, As far as hurting sony goes that remains to be seen although the X-Box is the best selling console in the US
