what kind of soldering iron

Hey guys, what kind of soldering iron would I need to chip a playstation and how big a tip would I need? I've never soldered before but would like to learn how.

If u can afford one...

I would get a good butane one. No cords, adjustable temp.


Usefull for other things also


I got mine from snap-on but ive seen them in stores..

Well dont learn how to solder on the PS2 practice with an old cordless phone or similar first.

get a 15w grounded soldering iron from radio shack for $7. I would get a small pointy tip.
