Arrow CRACKs missing.... What's happening with the latest games???

CRACKs missing.... What's happening with the latest games???

in the last month many games have been published and no-CD cracks are available (as of now), and they are not StarForce(123) protected:

MotoGP UTR 3
EA Madden NFL 2006
EA NHL 2006
Advent Rising

plus some 'old' big titles SF(123) games (last 6 to 8 months) aren't cracked (NoCD) even if some group cracked some SF(123) games (see 'ultima' releases):

Splinter Cell - Chaos Theory
Trackmania Sunrise

some good (or big titles) that released important (for playbility) patches are also without a crack, comes to mind DRIV3R 3

I think that the CRACK scene needs more man(brain)power and there's a new trend inverted trend, we have to support CRACKs programmers in some ways....

post your comments!!!

A big part of the problem might be that many games are pretty hard to make general NoCD's for. A fixed .exe is often more easy to do.

Also remember that for the scene it is a race and a NoCD might require extra work and can lead to a lost race.

The starforce version used by Splinter Cell is still uncracked and I think it will be for a long time to come. But I still have hope that Starforce will one day be defeated and thus no longer be the Ultimate Protection and therefore no longer used by publishers...

Supporting crackers will be very hard to do as these people are very often hunted by the different groups as the FBI, RIAA and so on. So any connection to their real-life names would make them easy to catch.

yeh i noticed to,i check back everyday for months and some never get done..maybe they are hard to do i dunno, but i tried to back up moto gp 3 the other day and had to use this program like the anti-star force ones called blax or something, and i hate all that. i go as far as mini images and cracks, but as soon as it comes to messing around with drives and hacking your own registry i give up.

im not actually trying to make back ups,im just trying to run my game without the disc cos my tower is in a locked cabinet to stop my kids messing with it and its a nightmare unlocking it everytime i wanan change disc..so i like the lazy way :P

I think we won't be seeing any NoCDs in the future. It's going to come down to emulation. The encryption schemes Starforce uses cannot be cracked, but if Starforce thinks its accessing the original disc/data, there is no need to crack the encryption.

the reason is because of the recent busts, of the flt people (fastlink) and the hlm (and others), that cut down the amount of crackers, and the new blood now dont seem up to the task, the protections are also getting tougher, thats the reason..

because of the busts a lot of other crackers (they are a very small amount of people..perhaps 20 or so 'professional' ones.. the ones who were in ims, flt, rzr, dev and so on) who didnt get busted retired because they saw what happened to the others that did and retired... losing all your equipment, ontop of legal fees, dealing with the police and so on is no laughing matter, be grateful for what you got from them, they did it for nothing, they made nothing from it and they paid the price for others that sold their work

oh and the encryption schemes starforce uses can be broken, dont believe all the hype, anythings breakable, it just requires skill.. that skill however is held in a small amount of people, who really dont give two ****s (especially after being busted) about your 'needs' for cracks anymore

just my opinion

well cracking is difficult. But it seems like the game companys finally have won the war. 3 years ago i'd have said yo can get a crack for every game and the following patches for it. But now, Starforce and all that ****. You can't even burn them anymore. Remember when CloneCD was able to copy every damn copy protected game? Thos times are over. And the time of no-cd cracks also :-(

You know why i use no-cd? Becaus it makes life easier. You don't have to search the game-box in you cupboard. you don't have to lay in the damn disc. It takes round 1-2 Minutes. So i just download a no-cd and that takes me 1time 5 minutes. And for the rest of my life i don't need the cd (only for patches etc.)

But those things like Star****, Daemon-Tools+Mini image
Are just ****! It takes 5minutes to set them up correctly EVER time you want to play (and hell we know there aren't even mini-images for some games).

So it's easier for me to take the damn disc and have the loud cd-rom making stupid noises decreasing my fun while playing.

oh and for the "scene" with their releases i see only this possibility:
get many new crackers to help out.
OR
Invest your time in developing the ultimate cd-burning software.
as we all know from your .nfo's you buy your games so just stop making isos but make images who can be burned with your new coded burn-software and which copy-protection will recognise as original!

By doing the first version you will please those like me who buy their games but hate inserting the disc.
By doing the second version you will please the kiddies and show the game industry that they are fu****

Well wrote.

I would like to add that the more starforce protected games will release and the faster the protection will be broken. (or you can understand the faster it will be needed to be cracked).
Victory for game companies would be significant unbreakable games in household proportion and not in my opinion a few noisy games forasmuch good as they are.
