Gauntlet: Dark Legacy PAL? Patch?

I got an image of Gaunlet: Dark Legacy for PS2. When I try it, the screen is B&W and it flips vertically. This means it is probably a PAL image, right?
The only patch I could find was NTSC-2-PAL. I tried using reversePPF with that patch to remove it, but it didn't work. I also tried running the NTSC convertor utility on the image. It said it detected the PAL video code, and converted it to NTSC successfully, but after I burned the new image, it still does the same exact thing.
Anybody got any suggestions or a PAL-2-NTSC patch for Guantlet? I checked on ISONEWS, and a PAL version was released, so I figure that is what I got. Thanks!
