Philips burner problem!!

Hi ppl, I have a PhilipsPCRW404 burner, and every time I try to burn a cd, I get 'buffer underun' or 'logical block adress out of range' error msg's with burning programs like CloneCD CDRWIN, Nero, Fireburner, blindwrite etc...could this be the cd's problem? (I used Dr.Hank, and Sony cd's) I'm also using the forced 4.60 aspi drivers. Or maby the burner is just old, i bought it back in 99...
This burner is on a P2 300mhz(i know, i know), w/ 256ram, an' windows 98se. And the burner worked-almost-perfectly till a while back..

Thanks for any help
