If I'm not mistaken, a "private server patch" is when your client becomes able to connect to a server on the LAN rather than the central server, situated at the publisher (or the developer). But that doesn't necessarily mean disabling the CD-key checks. Why is the CD-key check such a big problem for you?

(Correct capitalization and punctuation would be preferred, it gives me a headache to read such spaghetti sentences...)

I am trying to set the server up so that anyone can see it. I dont just want it on a lan connection. So to do this i need to set the server up so that it dont check the cd-keys when ppl with downloaded games try to come in the server.
Problem is i dont know how to do this. Can u tell me what prog i need to download so i can get the server up and not check for the cd-key.

thx for the help

As I expected... Thing is people with downloaded games shouldn't come to your server. Read the forum rules! Closed (but not banned this time).
