1. Download and extract the archive to somewhere (over the rainbow~)
2. Run compress.bat, type in your game folder
3. Wait for finish
4. Have fun

"KaktoR", I need to know, if the installer EXE can make use of the background image in a windowed manner or not? The Black patches on all sides of the image just takes the professional feel away from this excellent installer....
since, I owned the original "Diablo Battle Chest , containing Diablo & D2 DVD installer's", I tested the original D2 installer & can confirm Blizzard always used a windows background & never used a full screen image like the ones being used by this installer & shows black patch borders on different resolution screen.

Is this minor visual asthetic change possible on the installer EXE build?

Extract contents of v2.1.2.28709-DVD9.rar to conversion dir and overwrite, then compress.

Hey

since the game has become an update, i've prepared a patch for the Setup which contains the following changes

CIUv2:
-Updated setup script to latest version
-Changed Splash.png to a bit larger version
-Added a extra section to autorun page. There you'll find the website button from now on
-Removed website button from autorun logo
-Reworked small installer screen to match with the new changes
-Adjust list files and Setup.ini to work with the new CASC file system

Download the file "Diablo3-setup-patch-110-dvd9-xdelta.rar" from first post, extract the contents of the file next to Setup.exe and run Patcher.bat.

Also download "v2.2.0.30894a-DVD9.rar" for the new file lists. Any language changes in list files are now obsolete because the game has the same files for every language. If you have a Setup.ini file next to Setup.exe, delete it.

I've also made a other design with Installer Creator by razor12911. If you prefer this one, download "Diablo3-setup-patch-110-design2-dvd9-xdelta.rar", extract the contents of the file next to Setup.exe and run Patcher.bat (only for 106 setup!).
