Matrix Infinity Problem or laser

I installed the Matrix Infinity chip and noticed that my platstation constanly boots to configuration mode where it starts off by asking for a language.

I also noticed that during the install of the chip the board has an point marked "sx" while the install diagram as a point on the PS2 board marked "SCEX" to which I connected "sx"

Is this a problem of a mis-wired point or a laser that needs to be calibrated?

Thanks

So what your saying is its acting like your PS2 is being turned on for the first time every time you boot your PS2. You see the old style Playstation logo appear then it asks you to enter the language and time. I would have to say you have a short some place or possibly a cut track. I have seen this only a few times and its normally a short some place.

SCEX is the same as SX
