can this be done
I was wondering is it possible to translate jp games into english. I heard it could be done with patches. If I can do this where can I get instructions on how to patch and how many games have completed patches. I looked around and only found a few games with patches but there only like 5% done.

It can be done. But, these patches are so rare its not even funny. Because nobody really makes them. It is a lot of time and effort for something that not too many people will even see or use. So these patches if they are out there, are extremely rare.
I know Winning Eleven games for ps2 are famous for getting english patches. But really they are the only ones Ive actually seen to get them. Tyler!

I have found a few psx games like rurouni kenshin rpg, tales of phatasia, and shin megami tensei soul hackers with patches being made so is it possible that they will become more popular like about as easy to find as snes roms. And I still would like to know how to patch just incase.

It depends on what kind of patches they are. If they are the more popular .PPF patches then just make an image (preferrably a .bin) and use a program called ppf-o-matic v3 to patch it. After it says "successful patch" burn the image and you should be set.
Tyler!
