Dance Dance Revolution 5th Mix Protection Problem
I have a Magic 3.1 in my PS2, and I have a PS-X-Change Disk that I use with my PS1. I borrowed my friends DDR 5th Mix so I could play it, but when I used it with my PS1 and PS2, I nnoticed that it was mod protected. So I went to MegaGames.com and got the patch and patched the game and now it boots fine, except for one problem: Everytime it goes into a loading screen it just stays there and wont load. I used Clone CD to burn it, and I patched it using the PPF-O-Matic Patcher. I have had no problems with my other games, only this one, and I cant get it to load. It just stays on the screen that says "Now Loading" and the words are being animated, so the game is still running, but it just wont load. Can anyone help me ?
Thanks In Advance

Hi. I have the exact same problem with DDR Konamix (USA), DDR Best Hits (Jap) and DDR 1 (USA). I finally found a way into the options screen but it's weird as hell. On the PSX console, I couldn't get in, nor in any emulators when running off the CD. However I read in a post that running the CD image off hard disk in ePSXe does allow you to enter these sections which have the 'Now Loading' screen. I tried it and it worked. (like i said, running the CD in ePSXe gave the same problem).
Here's the thread where I read it: http://www.fileforums.com/showthread.php?threadid=36272 Now, why is this?! I _really_ need to get into these elusive sections on my actual console, this is driving me nuts ;] Anyone who can help, please do! |
