Giant Gram 2000
I recently got an original version of this game and I am using the follwing setup to play it
PAL dc Utopia Boot the Game itself Joytech VMU RF unit normal joypad The question I have is, while playing this game occasionally the DC resets itself and take me to the menu (File/Play/Music) screen so I have to restart the machine. Is there any reason that this could be happening that I could fix?-

most dreamcasts can get this problem....
usually the dc picks up too much must on the inner fan and overheats causing the dreamcast to rest now off mind (not 100% certain) remove the modem from the dc, remove the screws from the bottom of the dreamcast and take off the top keep the front of the dc facing you (control ponts pointing towards you) and unscrew the power unit near the top left, now look for a small white rectangle, now gently clean it with a small piece of wd40, just a pinch now to prevent it happening again just gently aply some pressure against it, not bending it... put your dc back together and just by magic it will play as new i'm not 100% if it will work but just go to google and search for "dreamcast reseting problem" for a better guide

It does happen with me on some CD'rs Dreamsnes in particular (whole CD full 400 roms). It also happened with a scratched sf3ts.
EDIT: i just downloaded Giant gram 2 ( jap pro wrestling 2, not GG2k) and it reboots alot while watching the intro where u see vader and after that the cowboy guy. Ace game tho! Last edited by roBx^; 26-09-2002 at 06:00.
