Wink it's me again

I 've just read some posts on the CloneClinic forum. According to you (KC) and other
people as well, claim that with a LiteOn (at least the 24x version which I know) can
do PERFECT copies of SD 2.51. I also checked that as a fact at the clonecd site (supported
recorders) which, according to, the liteon had two points for the "correct EFM" thing.
So, is that that makes it capable of producing perfect SD2.51 copies? The PX 24 has one
EFM point instead. But I suppose that is a problem that can be fixed with a firmware
upgrade from Plextor - if they're willing to do it. It seems that there are two kinds of
people out there. Those who are willing to pay something more to buy a more "branded"
product and other who go for the best-value-for-money. I'm in the first category, and I
all I ask is that others should respect that. I 've been in many forums and I read useless
stuff most of the time just because people like to show off. When I posted here I was
hoping to help those PX owners having trouble just like me with the SD2.51. I didn't wrote
this to start a comparison with liteon's or whatever else. If I wanted to expand on that now,
I would say that liteon just won a battle (making a perfect copy of SD2.51) over Plextor.
But this doesn't makes liteons in general better writers, since Plextor always used to
make some of the best writers out there i.e the 8x scsi PX writer can still do a perfect
copy of the SD2.51 without betablocker or other progz. Then, if a writer like this one which
is alot older than a 24x liteon or a PX, has to be the best of all. Also, none of these
writers will be capable in the close future to always make perfect copies, because
macrovision will come up with something new. The question is, which writer will able to
"live" longer(MTBF) and handle most protections. I chosed a the 24x PX two months ago, and paid
£117 for it(yeah it was a good price from http://www.goldchip-uk.com/). So KC, this isn't
near half price for a liteon, which is something like £80 from PC world. Can you also tell me
which prog do you use to compare cd's. I use cd vergeich(don't know if I spelled it correctly)
for audio cd comparison... Also, my previous writer was a teac R55S which I had for three
years - which wasn't a bad choice if I look back.
