uh, what i want in return is a way to remove cd scratches.. hehe. all ya have to do is get the dreamcast ripping toolbox thats available at this site. you need to burn the serial slave with disc juggler 3 (take note that the number 3 is not the number 2) put it in, and turn on your dreamcast. when the sega logo appears, 2 blue lines will come up on either side. this is to let you know that the dreamcast is ready to serve. take out the slave disc and put in the game you want to rip. start tera terminal (included) and choose com-port at the first window. then set your serial port to 57600 and hardware flow control (all other options are right) in terminal setup, choose second option for the transmit/recieve line (cr+lf or something like that) then press enter. a little > will appear in your terminal this shows that your ready to send programs to it. choose file|send and pick dreamrip.srec (in the pc software folder of wherever you installed the toolkit) and it will make a bunch of >>>s as its sending. once its done, set your serial port to the highest number (115K) and choose control|macro and pick the only macro in the dreamrip directory. a little window will pop up (leave it alone) then press the "o" key, and the "k" key. it will rip (taking 10-24 hours) you'll end up with a bunch of gzip files. use winrar to un gzip them. you'll have a bunch of raw files and a bunch of iso files (forgot to mention, youll have to write down the sector where the second DATA (ISO) track starts (usually 3rd or 4th track it rips. the first track says 45150 so you know what your looing for) go to the folder you ungzipped the isos to. use his extract program in the following way in a dos prompt. Extract.exe track03.iso track05.iso 243434 (where 243434 is your sector that teraterm gave you) and it will exract all the files. if you have a bunch of .raw files, then its a cdda game and you'll need to extract those with the raw2wav program (just drag and drop raw files onto it) otherwise, just discard the raws (if they are tiny and only 1 or 2 of them) then follow all instructions in the dc-cdr burn program to make either a cdda or data cd and your done. hope this helps
