"sour sweets", now isn't that an oxymoron!

No freaky dentist can stop me from drinking my beloved Coke... hm....
Sure, I won't drink Coke in the morning (i did once, is my body broken, then ?)
...
BUT I brush them twice a day and sometimes even 3 times (thrice ? ^^) a day... pretty good, eh ?

Anyways, I stopped eating sweets (the sugar ones), but I don't dare cutting off my chocolate supply, i couldn't, either (with my girlfriend around)...

@ Grumpy
Sour sweets is not an oxymoron, it's even more of a paradoxon to me...
I guess/assume you know those strange sweets, they taste kinda sour, but you can see like 1 inch of sugar on top of em... that makes me wonder every time I eat those x(
Dunno how they manage to create sour sugar, probably this is the last unsolved riddle of modern human life... most likely not... :P

By the way, chewing gum (the "ohne zucker" ones! ) after each meal helps a lot, too. Plus, it gives you a good breath, which I'm sure you get good points for from girls...

Very often things "ohne Zucker" taste like crap, they pretend to taste just like stuff with normal (bad bad) sugar, but it isn't that way.
I managed to convert to Coke Light, which is at least way better for my teeth.
You get used to the taste after quite some time tho...
Anyway, chewing gums should not be an alternative to brushing your teeth
Sometimes I believe they simply want the stupid dudes (and especially children, which are in no way stupid, just... predictable) to think they can exchange boring teeth brushes with delicous chewing gums...
Fact is, they aren't delicous.
I never found delicous AND healthy chewing gums o.O

I've been chewing Wrigley's Orbit (the sheets, not the tablets) for about a decade. (Hope this is not considered advertising... ) They taste good, taste long (up to about an hour or even more) and the new Winterfrost (dark blue packaging) is significantly stronger than the old one (light blue packaging).

I haven't visited a dentist for about a decade or even more and still no problems with my teeth, except for the plaque and thus some yellowing. I think chewing gum does help. But, yes, it does NOT substitute brushing your teeth, only helps along!

I've been drinking cola, eaten candy and similar my entire life and I've never had any problems with my teeth. Not a single hole ever and no other problem either.

I brush my teeths as any regular person, 2 times a day and sometimes I forget it if I am... well less then sober...

rarely chew any gums either as don't like it, however I do use Snus.

Thats snus, you put it under your lip and it gives a kick. Its a tobacco product actually.

However its actually NOT bad for your teeth. It makes your mouth create more saliva and thus keeps the teeth healthier! However its not as good for the gums...

Its very hard to describe how it taste... However, its NOT like cigarretes without the smoke or similar. It has its special taste.

Its good for the teeth because it gives increased saliva production and the saliva is what the body uses to take care of the teeths...
