pakrat2k2, try the game again that made ultraarc/freearc freeze. i did a research today on a set of files that were 96 966. the total size was 21.1gb. it froze on my pc but after 4 hours it started.

^^ worked fine with 2230, took about 20 mins to start, completed after 2 hrs.

Hi Razor12911,

Everytime I run this program. it successfully completes the conversion but deletes the contents of the first directory including the first cab file.

Any idea how to stop this from happening?

UltraARC does support CIU 1.0.0.6
@Everyone
UltraARC project is paused just a bit, Need to focus on other projects such as ASC.
It will be resumed once I figure out how to make it support components.

as long as you use the version from post #2 > ci_ciu_04032015.7z
as that has been modified to use UltraARC. Same goes for the rest of the modified versions in THIS topic only.

Using Latest UA 2300, & where are you specifying your Output source folder ?

Just set first disk contents folder the same path of converted game disk 1 and will do that. I reported this before and previously it did throw and error and didn't let you finish, but since "that fix" it deletes everything on disk 1 folder instead throwing an error

simply don't use FirstVolumeContent=, then it completes fine. I know you reported this before, but until its fixed leave that entry blank.

good news but don't start celebrating just yet, I think I finally figured out a way of adding the components feature on ultraarc and also making it support Installer Creator for now.

will have to dig out previous conversion files & see how much its going to take. that is after getting OS back up & running properly.

progress 75%, got so excited while adding components, it will also be in CI and CIU, and after seeing PSG win over Cheslea FC, I thought of including language condition which I did but will call it a day, time here is 3:05am. will run a few tests then post it.

edit: all done, the only scripts that have the feature are: Installer Creator, CI and CIU
