1.) What does the patch really do to the game? 2.) When i burn cd games there are some games that the screen are out of place(if i try to swap for ps2). MOD IT!
Mod your box--then the patches (in general) are irrelevent. The mods are cheaper nowadays--and will save your box in the long run.
Good Luck! |

Hi onenightz,
I-m new at this too but I think that I can answer some of your questions. If my anserws are not the best...well ...someone will correct me I hope...I-m still learning... 1) the patch alters the game in a way to overcome the protections. These protections are normally used to prevent us to make working copies. Use CloneCD to make them work!!! There are also other types of patches, the ones to alter game especifications like trainers, and other cheat modes. 2)About that PS2 thing I don-t really uinderstand what you mean, but I wouldn-t copy the games with NERO. If they-re protected they won-t work, Use CloneCD. Yes, the screen sometimes is not centered with your telly, but you can chage it on most of the games. Use CDRs with dark blue dye (TDK) is one of them. 3) these are broadcasting systems. Pal is used in Europe and other countreis. NTSC is used in USA and Japan. This last one, i Think, is different in each of the listed countries, I think. Pal is also not Pal every where, meaning there are also different types of PAL systems. cheers EE |
