Top Spin - Help!

Hi guys,

I just installed my new copy of top spin tennis for PC, and when I try to run the game, I get an error saying "Your hardware doesn't match top spin requirements. The application will now terminate". Does this mean I won't be able to run the game at all? I've got a Dell 630m laptop with 1GB of RAM and a 915GM chipset.

Well you will be able to answer that yourself!
On the box, which the game came in, it will have printed the minimum system requirements.

(Wrong forum, moved.)

Laptops aren't for gaming; most modern games don't run with them, especially, if the laptop has such a poor video card. Contact the publisher for options.

Right, the box has all requirements that are lower than which are on my machine, EXCEPT (perhaps, I'm not really sure) the video card requirement, which says nVidea GEForce (64MB) or ATI Radeon 8500 (64MB) or higher. I'm not sure where my video card fits into these, I *believe* it is allowed to share at least 64MB of memory. My laptop is able to run many games that seem as new and intensive as this, such as Alien vs. Predator 2 and other first person shooters. Does anyone know if this particular card has a problem with this game? I've tried to contact the manufacturers, but have not recieved a response.

well AvsP2 has it's years, your laptop shares ram memory an it's an integrated graphics card, so basically forget about it, sorry :/

Alien vs. Predator 2 (2001) is based on Monolith's LithTech engine, which was introduced in Blood 2 (1998). The fact that AvP2 runs on your laptop proves nothing as it is not a modern game (however great it is, though!)...
