I NEED SOME BIG TIME HELP!! DAL HELP!!!!!!!!

I just got a PS2 USA version 30001 version 4 I think. the SERIAL # starts with U5. What is better : Neo 2.2 and GameShark 2 or the new external NeoKey and GameShark? which will play all games (psx burned ps2 burned) and do I need anything else. and can it play ripped dvds?

In the absence of replies from those who know NEO2.2 better than I (I use modchip.com on my NTSC PS2), I'd advise in two ways:

1 Wait for the more comprehensive NEO4 (just about due out they claim at playstationmods)

2 Look at www.modchip.com for an alternative

The wisdom on this forum is to use a modchip rather than an external solution as the modchip wires reach all the necessary parts.

Hi

Get a Modchip, i dont think much of the NEOKEY, like Charlie says check out modchip.com for more options.

If you cait wait for the NEO4, then make a decision on a neo or a modchip.com chip.

Its really needs to be your decision, spend some time looking at old topics this forum has so much wicked infomation that will help/guide you through sorting your PS2 out.

I must of spent 15 hours or so, reading old posts, asking questions, before i ordered a pre-installed PS2 with a NEO 2.2. chip and use the REGION X as my boot disk. Been bloody happy with the results and most of my decision was made because of this fourm and playstationmods.com and www.kanection.co.uk

Cool,
so far me and Dal have been emailing each other and he's helping me alot. I went to playstationmods.com and found a mod-chipper in my area.
