How to Patch *.cdi files?

I seem to be having trouble patching *.cdi files.
I've tried using PPF but it doesn't seem to work.

Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

Make sure you type in the short dos filename of the patch (you can see exactly what that is when giving a dir command, so that it lists the file in your directory). Just make sure u type it in then letter for letter, symbol 4 symbol and u should be ok
