bad burns of games

Hi all, I am new to this scene so someone please help!!! I have gotten a couple of backups in .cdi or .iso form, and when I burn them the DC just goes to the music cd screen. When I use the ISO buster, it will see all the ip.bin and other data files. I tried to rip all those files and then just put them onto a cd but the game will not play that way either I just would like to know how I can just rip those files out and burn them on a cd so the game will work correctly. Thanks in advance!!!
