Q3A USA NTSC Problems (weirrrd.....) Xena ??

I successfully ripped quake 3 arena (track03.iso.gz and track20.iso.gz, no cdda), hacked the 1ST_READ.BIN to let the game start with the Utopia Bootdisk (threw the first 2 hex values from 5EB0 to 9600 and the second value from 6EB0 to A600), and did the same with every .bin file in which those values were in (that were: 1ST_READ.BIN, GINRESET.BIN, QUAKE3\Q3_USA.BIN and QUAKE3\INTRO.BIN). Then i burned it onto a CDR using Nero 5.0.3.8. and tried in dreamcast. Quake3 starts up fine, i can play the game. But after a couple of minutes (6-10 in the game), the game switches to a screen which looks very like a hippie t-shirt from the 70's, (you know that weird color-fractals) and the screen is moving a bit to the right so i have a black border on the left. I can still play the game, everything acts fine, except the colors and that border. I'm using a European/German Dreamcast with a standard AV cable. Question: Is this problem somehow related to a NTSC/PAL Detection/Protection ? If yes, is there any patch out there 2 fix it ? Or can i HexEdit that somehow ?

Besides, i'd like to know how i can add the cdda tracks to the game. I extracted the cdda tracks 4,5 and 6 and burned them AFTER the game iso. Of course it didnt work, but i'd like to know which .BIN files have to be hacked to enable cdda. I think i read somewhere that the start sector of each audio track must be inserted into the 1ST_READ.BIN file, but that only can be done if i burn the audio tracks first and then the 2nd session with the ripped ISO because i need the LBA offsets. Maybe you can ask gasratte to give you a full quake3 cracking howto to post it on your page ?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
