ecco the dolphin

i have made backups of at least 30 backups...NO PROBLEM...but i have wasted 4 discs on ecco the dolphin...its a utopia disc..whats goin on?..im using clonecd and i know the settings are where they should be as i said i've burned many before and after ecco..whats goin on webber?
