nero + mpg = vcd on a dc = how?

could someone tell me the exact procedure
ive made 3 coasters so far
i start up nero select video disk thru the wizard.
i browse to where the files are. it uses (2 .mpg`s for this movie.)
and i drag and drop em to where the big white box is on the left (default layout)
it checks the files and there ok
and i burn it but it dont play in my dc.
