Hi there,

I'm kind of a newbie here. I started experimenting with new ways of using a pc (not just games ). I heard about radio streaming and looked a bit around on the net, but there are so many tools available. I need help in finding the right one, could you help me out there?

Yeah, as Joe said you can use WinAMP, ShoutCAST... There are also tools specialised on internet streaming like ReplayAV, Radiotracker, StreamRipper, Perfect Sound Recorder... Now it depends on how handy you are with the PC and how much you know about streaming

I know my way arround with PC's, the thing I'm not quite used to is this new area of streaming on the internet... So I'm kind of looking for an easy tool to use. I'll check out the ones you pointed out.

I'd suggest in this case to use Radiotracker. I used it from the beginning and I'm quite pleased by it. What I liked most is the very large wishlist it comes with. It also has the option of ID3-tagging and you can organize your music well.

Me again...
I played around in the past days with a few tools and stopped at Radiotracker. I used the demo version and I'm thinking about buying the full version. I have a question, though... Is it possible for Radiotracker to record only tracks I defined in the wishlist? I have entered a few artist names for Radiotracker to find mp3's for, but it brought much music I do not need. So any ideas?
