audio/video synch

hey guys, i used psp video9 and clonedvd mobile and both are gettin me kinda frustrated here. when both programs encode my dvd movie to mp4 format, the video always seems to fastfoward throughout the movie. the audio plays at its normal speed. i tried different methods. i tried encoding it straight from the dvd and the other from the dvd ripped to my hdd. i have been unsuccessful. if anyone has encountered this problem and has fixed it. let me know as well. i have had success with other formats(avi.,mpeg,mpg,mov.).

i just tested pMenc and that also works perfectly. it rips straight from a dvd which is kick *ss for me. but also post the link cause one can never have too much info on this. like a week ago i just learn how to compress my iso's and still be able to play them in their compressed format. which saves alot of space on my 2gb stick.

heres what i do btw i dont have links for the programs just google

start dvd shrink and go to edit -> preference then the output files tab and uncheck the split VOB box then click on re-author and drag just the main movie and select no re-compression and let dvd shrink run

start virtual dub mod and open the .VOB file that dvd shrink made click on streams -> stream list and extract the .ac3 audio and convert it to mp3 with nero wave editor

then go back to the stream list window in virtual dub mod and disable the audio stream

then close the stream list and click on file save as... then down the bottom where it says video set video mode to fast recompression and compression click change and select the xvid codec save the file as an avi

now open the avi file created by virtual dub mod and go back to the stream list and click add and select you mp3 file you made earlier and click ok

click file -> save as... and at the video area for video mode select direct stream copy then you will have a avi file with the sound

start rapiz video conveter click on search and select the avi file you made, edit the name of the clip and click begin then click begin and rapiz wil convert your avi file to psp mp4 format
