DOA2LE Timing Problem? (Echelon Release)

Hi there. I am wondering if anyone else sees this problem in DOA2LE, released by Echelon? The intro freezes for 5-10 seconds while the music keeps playing, then starts back up again. I've tried a number of things to rectify this, such as stripping the Echelon Intro from the 1ST_READ.BIN file, and making a bigger dummy file, but I get the same results. Is this a problem that can't be solved?
