Backup GTA3 from DVD to CDR
\
Hi this is my first post. I´ve already read a lot of threads about this theme but there was nothing useful. I have bought the GTA3 DVD (Pal) and I want to make a backup on a CDR74 / CDR80. I don´t know wich files have to be left away and wich ones are needed to play the backup with a neo modchip. I have no DVD burner and I´m not going to buy one. I´m not able to get the "kal-gta3.bin" so I would like to make the copy by myself. Hints like "type DVD rip into the search function" don´t help me much. Most of the tutorials are much too general. Please describe step by step what I have to do to backup my GTA3 DVD correctly. thx Tortilla |

That's the problem. We rely on someone who has done the rip to publish the step by step guide. Haven't seen one yet for GTA3. The general tutorials on DVD ripping are one sound starting point for people who are prepared (like SimonBradley and ZOEDEE were in past months) to work from first principles. You can look at other specific game rip tutorials as analogies. You'll get there quite quickly.
Then you'll be the nice guy who writes it up and posts it on Sgt-Dan and PS2Ownz - yes? |

Thanks for the link, Charlie! I´ve made a backup that fits on a CDR80 but it will take a while until I can check out if it works. My modchip should be delivered soon. thx Tortilla
