Please Help Me!!

I've been trying to make backups for Dreamcast games for a long time but I've never been successful. I have the Utopia CD that works when I put it in the Dreamcast, but when I try copying a Dreamcast Game to a CD-R it won't run from the Utopia CD. All it does is keeps on trying to read the CD making some weird sounds in the process. I've tried using many different burning softwares as I can but none seem to work. Can someone give me a step by step way to burn the games and get them to work. Like what program to use and if there are any extra files to download to be able to burn the games.
