help getting warrior kings battles to work

Hey had this game a while now and really like but the damn thing keeps crashing back to desk top after a few mins, i read that a lot of people had this problem but i cant seem to find a fix for it, did any1 else have this problem and figure out a way to fix it.
my system is dell 8300 p4 512 ram 9800 pro. i have all the latest drivers for my graphics cards etc.
