Can someone send a cd fix for this so that Game Copy World and Game Burn World can post it?

Just change byte at offset 0x33A1 to EB in Painkiller.exe and it's sorted!

Yup! Load the painkiller.exe into a hex editor, find offset 0x33A1 (byte should be 75) then change it to EB and save. Play without the CD

I've created a small patch doing the hex edit. Extract to your painkiller\bin directory and execute. It will create a backup called savefile.ero . you may want to keep that file in case a future update may require it.

works 100% with the english 1.61 version of painkiller.

Eagle, there is a problem with your patch

In a DOS box I get this error:

The file is not at the good size (1474560 octets). ;(

The files size is correct @ 1,474,560 bytes but your patch doesn't like it I can't find eropatch, all links are too old and the first one doesn't download anything

Thnx for the credit though
