Battlefield 1942 1.61b and online play

Ok i was using the 1.6.19 nocd patch fine, it let me enable punkbuster, but after updating to 1.61b and installing jokers nocd patch it wont let me enable punkbuster, keeps asking me to reinstall 1.61b patch.

Reason im so desperate is that, like other people, both of my BF1942 cds have shattered because of the crappy quality discs that EA used, and now they want to charge me $7.50 for replacement discs.

Is there any way of enabling punkbuster with 1.61b?
