Finding Modworthy PS2?

Well, I gave away my V9 with Messiah 1.33 to my brother for christmas as I couldn't mod his old V2 and just sold it for $100 on EBay.

I really thought I'd have no problem finding a V7 in good shape to mod, but it's proving more difficult than expected. EBay is kinda blind, and nobody posts version numbers or laser tests, Every Blockbuster around has been sold out for some time.

Ideas?

Car boot, local paper, local shop.

Just write down the stuff you need to check e.g. version (serial code) etc

I wish I could say those were high yield sources, but they're not.

Anyplace online that's pretty safe and consistent with inventory?

not sure about the states as I am in the UK and wouldn't want to get it wrong and risk you a lot of money.
