newbie needs help backing up PS2 games
i have a neo key modchip and i have tried to back up some of my Ps2 games but i have mainly turned out coasters. i got midnight club to work but thats the only one. i have tried cdrwin, cd clone, and nero. i have also tried tdk, memorex and pengo cd's, and i have 2 different cdrw drives (creative 4224 and tdk velo). i was wondering if i need to use a different type of cd. someone told me i need to get cd's with a dark blue back but i got midnight club to work with a silver back cd? i used the patches needed for the game, followed the guidlines for the burning software and the games are all ps2 format not dvd. does anyone have an idea what i may be doing wrong, and what is the best software for burning (nero, cdrwin or cd clone).

If you are using a neo-key cdrwin is the best software for you because most ea games will require patching. Read and write at a slow speed, use verbatim cdr's and BUY CDRWIN. Remember cdrwin+crack serials=coasters...Good luck.
