X3 Review

Well firstly no proper diagrams have come out for the x3 as of yet. I found some on bald bouncers site. Anyway installs quite simple. The build of the chip looks quite gd but i came into some ploblems which i will state later.

Looks
The x3 chip looks very good on all bright blue leds nice! The x3 bios which has its own dashboard is ok its more do do with xbox settings than evox was more apps and emus etc. They state that the ftp goes faster than it did before and i can say yes it does! wow does it go fast!

Problems

Ahhh it worked nicely for an hour. So i replaced the lid and turned it on and a horid smell of smoke came out of my xbox one of the tracks had burnt off for some reason i do not know. So i patched it up and was told by mrmodchips its a fire risk so im getting a replacement sent out today!

Other than that the x3 is a very good chip and has some new features the older xecuter mods didnt have such as lcd screen and backup bios. The backup bios is linux based, but can be flashed to another via ftp.

When my x3 returns i will do a long examination of it and report it here but as for quality of the chip i would say 5/5 Altho some pcb probs. Reseller 5/5 Mrmodchips delivered very fast and has good customer service atho he isnt liked very much in the scene his service is v good.

For 37.99 GBP is a good price certainly for the extra features that the cheapmods and Xbit doesnt have. Oh dont worry if you cant solder a solderless adaptor is on its way
