Need for speed underground no-cd help

hey people,
im new at all ths no-cd stuff, i put the no-cd file in the need for speed folder and it replaces the old one in there, and when i try to use this no-cd on need for speed underground, it comes up to the loading screen then closes really quick and shuts off... is there something im doing wrong or is it the game? *no-cd is made by DevIancE*
