Cleaning Laser on DC???

My DC is isnt reading some games right away i have to load them like 3-4 times for it to read them....im thinking its my laser....how do i clean it?...do i used one of those cd-cleaners for stereo and cd-rom or can i just take like a tissue or soft cloth and wipe it down? (all my games on on the same brand of cd's so i dont think its that)...please help thanks!
