Burning the Skies of Arcadia Echelon CD's... where to start?

I've got the Skies of arcadia Echelon rar files 1 and 2, but they contain thirty or so files that look like e-skies1.002 and what not. Am I supposed to make these into an image? Do they require a boot file? Is there a tutorial on this somewhere? Any info would help.

you're lucky.....where did you find this game? i looked everywhere....

anyway, use winrar to open .001, then extract the cdi and burn with DJ or A120.

I had this problem. I think I failed cos I used a 650MB disc instead of a 700MB one and I used Nero 6. I have Nero 5.5 now and am gonna try that DOA/96 mode with a 80 min disc. Hopefully it'll work this time. I looked at that patch program but it didn't find anything so I guess that's ok. Im hoping it'll boot itself cos my boot disc doesn;t seem to help it

ok, i found this game. i used cdi2nero and burned with nero 5 DAO. for some reason, i couldnt select DAO/96. so i burned it DAO anyway and it works fine. it is a selfboot. great game, too.
