DVD Movies not playing with EvoX dashboard copied to hard drive.

Why doesn't DVD movies play in my Xbox (yes, I have a playback kit) when I copy the EvoX dashboard to my hard drive. I copied the origal MS dash back in they work fine now. But, I like the EvoX dash.

how do you make them work together?

Thanks,
Brian

What does evox.ini file look like for DVDPlayer?

Should probably look like this,

DVDPlayer = "e:\xboxdash.xbe"

Or if you renames evox as xboxdash.xbe, put whatever you named the MS Dash xbe.

You should have xboxdash.xbe as the original dash and evoxdash.xbe as evox of course, most MOD chips will look for evoxdash.xbe first. Then both will run together fine and the xbox will run with both original and hacked bios

Now, I would say throw that dongle in the closet and install DVDX 2.0
In your apps folder. It’s Region Free, Macrovision Free… Here’s what my INI looks like,

DVDPlayer = "e:\apps\dvdx\default.xbe"
