CloneDVD/AnyDVD combo backup

I have used Xpress for a long time but, the dual layer pause bugs me. If i use AnyDVD (version 3.5.2.1) in combonation w. CloneDVD 2, will it get rid of the dual layer pause?

--edit-- If this does get rid of the dual layer pause, could someone post a guide on this form (Possibly w. screenshots?)

Layer Break

What you are reffering to is called the Layer Break. Its where the movie switches to the other layer in midplay of a movie. This is normally about half a second to a full second of a pause.

I know DVD2one does get rid of the layer break as it claimed to doing it long ago.

Im not sure if CloneDVD does it but I do know that of all the movies Ive personally done with CloneDVD I cannot remember one layer break in any of them.

Pop Smith -

I have the same experience as Tyler with AnyDVD/CloneDVD. Have not experienced ANY "layer breaks" as you describe them, but I have not tried backing up any movies longer than about 150 minutes.

It doesnt matter how long the movie is. It depends on where the maker of the dvd decides on putting the layer break.

I saw a movie a while back that had the layer break only 45 min into the movie.

CloneDVD 2 can and does get rid of the Layer Break. Go here and it says Layer Break Flag Removal Possible. Also, when you look @ the log (The screen were it copys the files) one of the first things it does is remove the Dual Layer Break.
