Problems with 80 min media

Ok, I might be crazy, but I dont think I can burn any games that have to go on 80 min cds. I have a plextor 12/10/32. Even when I successfully burn games that fit on a 74 min disc, when I try to put them on an 80 minute disc, nothing works and they won't boot. Am I missing something? This happens in cdrwin, disc juggler, etc.
