Weird Noises in DC!
Im using a samsung 208F burner and when I use disc juggler the cd writes perfectly but when I put it into my dreamcast it starts making weird noises. Can somebody tell me what the problem is?

Weird noises? Like is it singing to you, screaming, a bunch of beebs, or what?
Does it sound like its trying to load the cd? Does the game load? Do you here voices? Please be more specific. |

it sounds to me like you are talking about a game that is too small on the cd and needs dummy files added to it...once the game has been pushed to the outer rings of the cd it wont make those grinding noises....

My sboots copys are playable on the dc machine but my problems is that my cdr sboots copys dont have the rings(inner and outta) on the writing side of the disc, and spins fast inside the dc machine for 1-2 secs when loading the game up before returning to its normal speed.using demo dj3.0,can anyone help me out.

i had some problems like this. the original releases of mdk2, mr driller, mk gold, would make the grinfing laser noises. some of the early DC releases are either small or some of the groups rearranged the files out of order from what i recall, which made the laser jump around to find the files it needed.
i have since come across rereleases of most of these 3 titles mdk2 (now self booting, mr. driller (dummied i think), mk gold (was rereleased w cdda) the rereleases eliminated the weird grinding noise for me.
