Copied Gyplay to cd but DC won't play VCD's

OK I 've downloaded gyplay to play VCD's on my DC's but no matter what file I burn i.e. mpeg, asf, or avi. all I get is a rotating reindeer witht the utopia disk in the background. I've followed directions perfectly I've even tried both the executable and full version of gyplay but nothing works. Any help would be appreciated thanks
