Delta Force

I'm looking for UPDATES and NO-CD's for the original Delta Force. I've tried updating using the games Updating but it just sits there for hours and does nothing. I did a search on GameCopyWorld and looked through pages & pages of stuff but no luck. I had found some on MegaGames but am not able to acces them... Can anyone point me in a direction to where they might be??? Would greatly appreciate it...

Get updates from www.novalogic.com A nocd patch for the latest version can be hard to find, but with some practice you can kill the tricky cd-check by yourself

Okay, believe I have located a update. Now, you say I can kill this cd-check by myself?? That's providing one knows where to start (which I don't) Any "how-to's" are maybe some pointers?? Appreciate the reply ByteMare

I'll give some hints: Put in the cd, the game starts, intro is playing and all buttons are enabled...fine..remove cd and try...what? No intro movie and single player not clickable....hmmm...pretty much looks like it's looking for the intro.kdv file (which is not installed on harddrive), then some checking for CD and the correct Volumelabel...if everything goes well, it will put an "1" at a pointer
and you're done...

Now, grab a good disassembler and have a look.

like Delta Force. I suggest you bookmark them in your browser for future reference.

Hi Kreepers. Thanks for the reply AND the info. However, I had read that thread about where to find cracks already and didn't have very good luck. Both links you supplied gave me dead links. The "megagames" link says that the file cannot be found on this server. I already had an older no-cd but needed to update the game, that is why I was asking. I found an update but no no-cd for it. After which I thought it might be easier to learn to do my own no-cd's. Since then I have downloaded tons of tutorials and have been reading up on this.(if you know of any good tuts or links on this, would appreciate them) Have been following ByteMare's "HINTS" for this game but am a bit stuck....
As I said before though, thanks for the reply AND the info!!!

Sorry to hear about the dead links. I just tried them again on my end and they work fine. Perhaps trying a different mirror for gamecopyworld would help you. A lot of times you need to try at different times of the day to download as these servers can be busy enough to not be able to take your request to download files during peak times. Also make sure you try both file download links at Megagames.

Unfortunately I know nothing about programming so I can't enlighten you in that department. *lol*
