why won't primo and recordnow...

Hey guys, I new to this backing up stuff and was using something called gamejack to back up my games. I backed up Megaman X7 and Onimusha. Then I tried backing up some more stuff and it just doesn't work any more, I don't know why? So I then try to use Primo DVD and recordnow max and niether read my DVD burner. Has anyone else had this problem? I also have Alchohol 120 but noticed there wan't a guide to use it, but it reads my dvd burner. Can anyone tell me why primo and record now aren't working with my DVD burner or can you give me a brief explanation how to use alcohol 120. Oh by the way I have a Pioneer 106 and ritek dvd -r. and can the ps2 read dvd -rw?
