Oh man...what are my options?

Hey guys, I think I made a mess. (little long, but need advice)

Ive been looking around for the past two weeks, and decided to get a DMS3 mod chip. I ordered my DMS3 v2 mod chip from www.divineo.com.

I got a DMS3 v2 because I have a V1 PS2, and thats the chip I needed. SO, after the fact, I started reading about how the v1 PS2's wont read DVD-R games well, because the strength of the lazer isnt as good or something, the fact is that it wont read it.

Now, I have the chip coming(Supposedly, I havent got confirmation yet, and its been 4 days) and a PS2 that wont work, even with the chip inside.

I dont want to take a chance with it because I could possibly screw up my system and/or the mod chip for no reason.

So, I decided Im gonna sell my PS2 and get a newer version(like a v7 or v8). SO thats what I did, yesterday I sold my PS2, and when I went to work(Best Buy Canada) I went to go get a PS2 bundle, with network adapter and Off Road Fury, but OH OH, its a V9. SO is every single PS2 we have. And futureshop, and wallmart.

SO, now im stuck with a v9 PS2 and a DMS3 v2 coming which isnt compatible. I already emailed divineo.com and asked if I can switch my order since I havent been charged yet and/or sent my confirmation, so if they say yes, Im good.

If not, what can I do? Hopefully this isnt against boards but, if my last resort is to resell(when/if my chip is shipped) I would gladly keep in origional packaging and send to anyone who needs a DMS3 v2 chip for same price as I paid.

But honestly, anyone have ideas.

(SOrry this was long, thanks for reading)
