Unhappy x2.3 lite problems

I had an X2.3 lite installed in my xbox last week. When the xbox boots with the x2.3 lite turned on I get the Cromwell screen but it won't flash using my cd and just hangs. If I disable the chip I get the Microsoft error and the xbox stops(this not the error where it boots 3x it boots but halts after displaying an error in English Spanish and other Languages) I'm at a loss!

Hmm, im not sure why it gave you that error. All you did was get it installed right? That error is ussually the result of an unlocked HDD, or a modified bootup dash (that is named "xboxdash.xbe").

Create a dvd/cd-rw. Burn a 512k bios image named "bios.bin" to a disk, with nothing else on it. If that is what your tried and was not recognised, burn a larger [Dummy] file renamed to "000.000" (like an mpeg or something), then burn it on the disk along with the bios. If your using cd's and not cd-rw's, well, that may be the problem.

If it keeps not reading, eject and close the tray the try again, over and over. I had to do it about 20 times before my disk was read.

Yah, but you need you have the chip working to boot xbox executables, or flashed. Also make sure the write proyecyion switch is off. I suggest the X2 4977 bios btw, they are the most stable in my opinion.
